The scheme is situated just over the Tamar bridge in the county of Cornwall on one of the main artery routes into the rest of County.
The project comprises of 3no retail units and 2no drive thru food outlets.
The retail units were a 5000sq.ft charity unit for Sue Ryder, a 11000sq.ft unit for The Food warehouse by Iceland and a 17. 500sq.ft unit for Home Bargains.
The construction of these units was a steel frame with an insulated composite roofs and wall cladding panels with a mixture of Cornish stone and cedar cladding to prominent elevations. These units were serviced via a separate entrance to a concrete service yard to serve the rear of these units.
Apart from an amenity block to the rear of the Sue Ryder unit the units were left as a shell for the respective tenants to carry out their fitting out.
The drive thru units were constructed for McDonalds and Costa Coffee. Our works to the McDonalds unit consisted of all mains services and drainage and foundations. The external works to the 'pressed concrete' drive thru lane along with the external ducting and concrete pads for the relevant signage.
The Costa Coffee unit was constructed via a steel frame with and insulated composite roof, with a mixture of thru colour render and cedar cladding. This unit was left as a shell for the tenant to fit out. All external works to the drive thru and hard paving.
Externally the scheme provided 172no car parking spaces with a mixture of parent & child, disabled and standard. The scheme also benefited from pleasant landscaping.
