Work Starts on New Housing Project

Jessops Construction have commenced the building works on a new housing scheme in the East Yorkshire village of Cottingham.
This project is the second phase of their Cottingham scheme involving the construction of an Aldi Food store, which was completed in December 2017 and a new residential development.
Phase 2 of the development consists of 7 modern, 3-bedroomed houses on the former University of Hull Needler Hall site.
The houses were designed with feedback from a public consultation, arranged by the planning consultants involved in the project, allowing residents to comment on the proposed development. The planning application reflected feedback received and the modern, preferred style of design was submitted.
The concluding phase of the project is being led by Jessops Construction project team consisting of Contracts Manager, Richard Davies; experienced Site Manager, Steve Hodgson and Senior Quantity Surveyor Jo Gray.
Contracts Manager Richard Davies said "This is an exciting, new residential development for the village of Cottingham. It will offer local people high-quality housing with the convenience of local amenities. Jessops Construction are delighted to be involved."
Works on the new housing development commenced on 18th June 2018 and the project is due for completion early Spring 2019.
