Fundraising Success for Jessops

Jessops Construction have presented a cheque for just over £2,700 to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
The Newark based firm chose LNAACT as their 'Charity of the Year' for two years running, and raised funds through various initiatives including charity cycles, staff breakfasts, barbeques and collection pots at their sites nationwide.
Following the presentation, Jessops staff were shown the brand new, state of the art Agusta Westland 169 aircraft that their fundraising will assist in running and maintaining. The charity relies heavily on donations for the £2.5 million annual running costs that keep it operational 365 days a year.
Kelly Yarwood, Company Secretary at Jessops Construction said "Having had discussions with the crew today, they have reiterated just how important this service is to Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. We are so proud to have been able to assist in a small way in raising funds to ensure that the aircraft can support those who really need it."
